On peut observer le ferraillage et les traces du coffrage \u00e0 l\u2019angle Sud. Cette casemate appartient \u00e0 toute une s\u00e9rie de constructions fortifi\u00e9es qui ponctuent la campagne au long de la ligne de front.<\/p>\n<p>Associ\u00e9es \u00e0 un dense r\u00e9seau de tranch\u00e9es prot\u00e9g\u00e9es de barbel\u00e9s, elles constituent un ensemble d\u00e9fensif continu et \u00e9tendu dans la profondeur sur plusieurs kilom\u00e8tres. Ce dispositif mis en place \u00e0 partir de 1916-1917 sur tout le front allemand est connu sous l\u2019appellation de ligne Hindenburg.<\/p>\n<p>Rien que sur le territoire de la commune, il subsiste encore plusieurs dizaines de casemates.
