Les gardes nationaux de Frelinghien, assiste\u0301s par ceux des communes voisines utilisent la route construite par Vauban au Pont Rouge. Ils forcent l&rsquo;ennemi a\u0300 repasser la Lys et accompagnent un convoi de bateaux de vivre destine\u0301s a\u0300 l&rsquo;arme\u0301e franc\u0327aise.
